Yantai Hejing Ceramic New Materials Co., Ltd. is an advanced ceramics company founded in 2010 by Nuclear Industry Yantai Tongxing Industry Co., Ltd. It specializes in researching, developing, manufacturing, selling and proving service for the photovoltaic (PV) industrial chain. 
Fused silica ceramic crucibles, Hejing's main products, are used in the manufacture of poly-crystalline silicon solar cells. They are used in harsh conditions at about 1650oC.
Hejing has independent intellectual property rights of new Gelcasting technology. It has many advantages such as high green strength, uniform structure and net shape. In addition, the new technology overcomes the traditional Gelcasting's shortcoming: low density. Crucible performance catchs up with or even surpasses advanced world levels.
